Question: Right back muscle pain for 3 days?

I've had this pain in my back since Tues. I took some ibprofen it went away for like a couple hours now it's back. I do cheerleading if that helps.

It sounds like you have strained your paraspinal muscle in your back as the pain went away when you took ibuprofen. This got rid of the inflammation which was short lived. You may want to try ice at first, then maybe a hot shower or moist heat as the muscle might have some spasming in it now and it is past the 24-48 hour period. It most likely happened during cheerleading. You will need to be careful when cheerleading especially rotating your body or bending forward. You may want to try bringing your knees up toward your chest(one at a time or both together) to gently stretch the muscle. I would continue with the ibuprofen unless it bothers your stomach. Ice has the same effect as ibuprofen if it does hurt your stomach. Hope this helps.
