My aunt had this go see a doctor immeiatly they said she had cancer in those areas and shes luckey she caught it in time before it spread through her whole body. she had to have sergery to get it out IM SERIOUS GO SEE A DOCTOR!!!

This is probably just considered somewhat normal for menopausal or perimenopausal women. You could go 10 months and not have a period and then get one.....Drs say if you've gone one year, you're probably finished !! Hopefully, you're having annual pap smears at your gyn....of course check with her (or him :) on this.

If you had just begun the menopause process, you could expect to get these little surprises. If this is something that is routine though (or not...even if it is causing needless worry), I'd set up an appointment with your gynecologist and have a pelvic and pap done. At least give your GP a heads up and describe your symptoms. Lots of times though, at the onset of menopause, there is a breakthrough period here and there. As for the joint aches, I'm not sure about that but hope you don't find yourself worrying more than you need to. Our bodies do strange things at times and it is better to be safe than sorry, lots of times things just happen and there is no method to the madness.
