I have moved from California a very dry climate to Oklahoma, a very humid climate . I am experiencing body and joint pain like never before. I have neck and back problems, but my pain isn't centered there. I am having pain in every joint, and was wondering if it is linked to this major climate change.Also, relief is only found in a hot tub or heating pad which is the last thing I want on a hot day. Any idea's for relief would be helpful.. Thanks
What can I do about sleep depravation and joint aches?
I got locked out of my house late last night and the family were gone to bed so out of politeness i didn't disturb them So I ended up trying to get some sleep under a giant shopping mall bridge by sitting on a tree stump... as the ground was just damp gravel not as funny as it sounds so i obviously didn't get much sleep and on top of that it was like 2 degrees temperature outside....so i had to stay that way for a full 7 hours until a bus arrived because i would have been trapped in the cold another two hours and i was getting kind of hungry...so now i'm just sitting around in a very sore sleepless state.I tried coffee and some food but that hasn't helped a lot....the shivers have gone though Should i just sleep it off tonight and see how i feel tomorrow?Ehh Bob T this actually happened....kind of short of a time machine there like >
Help for violent aches in joints when laying down?
When i lay down to sleep or lay down in general i get violent aches in my joints and I have to move them to be free of the pain for a few minutes then move again. the pain is at it's worst by Night time when I attempt to go to sleep. It's really starting to cause damage to my sleeping pattern which causes problems with my body in general from lack of sleep. So i really need help on this and figured i'd ask on here before going to a doctor incase it's a simple solution.
Does metal rods and pins cause arthithis ,after 5yrs?i have aches and pains in my joints after now!?
I had surgery in 2000,now i still have the rods and pins in my ankle.the dr. said if the metal wasn't removed, i will will not have arthitihis,depend on the person.

Last night I had severe muscle aches, joint pain and my legs felt like they didn't want to stop.?
This has happend before, but usually the muscle and joint pain is only in my legs. Last night it also involved my left arm. I tried ibuprofen and soma to no avail. The symptoms seem to be only at night. I am a nurse and spend a great deal of time on my feet, so I kinda figured that the muscle aches where related to that. I work in oncology research, so I don't do any lifting or repositioning to explain the arm muscles aching. Please, if anyone has every experienced this please let me know. Thank you.
My little finger of right hand has swollen in the middle at joint area and aches, why?
Hey I am a lady, my little finger of right hand is swollen in the middle and the joint bone is growing bulky. It pains in the mornings and reddish also. Mild pain in the joint area exists 24 7. Bone overgrowth with pain leads to what? Please help. Which specialist doctor to consult.
