Question: What causes sudden head pains? (Posted by: Lori D on 2008-11-15 23:41:19) My bf was weightlifting and he got this sudden pain in his right temple shooting to the back of his head. can you please help me understand what this was. and what I can do about it? should we go to a hospital?? I am very worried about this. plz help. |

Posted by: Chris A on 2008-11-19, 14:58:55 He may have a pinched nerve in his neck or he might have stimulated his vasovagal nerve or he might have popped a vein in his head - If the pain persist or worsen or is accompanied by dizziness, loss of vision, fainting or confusion = I would go to the ER ASAP |
