Question: I have head pains please help?

Maybe about once or twice a day i will suddenly get pains in my head that will only last for about 30 - 60 seconds. They are usually intensely sharp pains or really ache. If they are sharp they usually make me swear and grab my head, because it is so sudden. They are usually on the left side of my head, sometimes on the right, when they are on the left side they are either at the back just above where my head meets my neck and near my ear or around my temple. Sometimes they are in my forehead though. I drink lots of water, i have a bottles with me all of the time. So it isn't that. I have had this for about 6- 8 months. If you have any idea what this is is would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You may be suffering from a disc problem in your neck - go to mayoclinic.com and click on symptom checker - this may help you Since you have had this for 6-8months, I would definitely go to see an Md; preferably a neurologist

There are some reasons i can think of lack of sleep? looking at electronic screens too much [TV, comp phone]. the overuse of the phone [they send waves that, in long term, can damage your brain] but i suggest seeing a doctor if you havnt already
