What causes sudden head pains?
my bf was weightlifting and he got this sudden pain in his right temple shooting to the back of his head. can you please help me understand what this was. and what I can do about it? should we go to a hospital?? I am very worried about this. plz help.

This is a very odd symptom of something Ive been having, and it only started a day ago. It seems that whenever I walk, there is this really bad pain in my right eye. However, when Im sitting down I never get it. Im kind of worried about it, because I dont know if its a sign if something is wrong or if I have a brain tumor or anything like that. However, I dont have any other symptoms of something seriously wrong. My eyesight is fine except of the occasional 5 second " weirdness" and Im not getting any constant headaches. Its just this stupid pain in my eye. I took a pain killer, and it went away for a while, but once it wore off the pain began to come back. Could this just be because I have been straining my eyes lately and might have pulled a muscle or something? Also, I have been getting a lot of cramps in my legs too, so could it possibly be due to irregular hormone levels?Please answer back, all help is wanted. Im just really concerned, but nothing except that eye pain seems to be wrong. Id love it if you could just prove I am being paranoid. x Thank you in advance
Why do I keep getting headaches or head pains?
Just recently I've started getting dull headaches that last only a couple of minutes at a time.Sometimes I get pains in just specific areas of my head that last about 5 seconds then disappear.The pharmacist thinks it could be migraines do you think this is true?I saw my optician and he's updated my prescription as evidently I couldn't see properly. I won't know if this is the cause of my headaches until I get my new glasses, but do you think this is a factor?Thanks
I have head pains please help?
Maybe about once or twice a day i will suddenly get pains in my head that will only last for about 30 60 seconds. They are usually intensely sharp pains or really ache. If they are sharp they usually make me swear and grab my head, because it is so sudden. They are usually on the left side of my head, sometimes on the right, when they are on the left side they are either at the back just above where my head meets my neck and near my ear or around my temple. Sometimes they are in my forehead though. I drink lots of water, i have a bottles with me all of the time. So it isn't that. I have had this for about 6 8 months. If you have any idea what this is is would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

during a daily weightlifting session my boyfriend suffered a sudden sharp pain in his right temple that ran all the way to the back of his head. should we be going to the hospital for this or is he going to be alright? I am very concerned. any information is appreciated.
Can symptoms of a sinus infection be sharp pains in head that come and go, and ear pain?

I have small pain doesnt hurt too bad on my head that keeps coming and going... should i be worried about brain cancer or am i being a hypocondriac?

Im getting a little worried that my head " aches" are not headaches. I have been having an odd pain that comes and goes in the right side of my head. It does not feel like a headache or migrane. It comes about every few secounds sometimes longer. And sometimes its just a quick sharp pain others it is a slow throbbing pain that last just a little longer. Its been going on for 3 days now. I am also concerned because doctors recently found that I have a little numbness and nerve damage on the outside of my left leg after an apt.. to find out y i was limping when i would walk, when i wasn't any pain . Im only 20 but Lugharits disease I spelled that wrong also knows as ALS i think, runs in my family.... could these be signs of that? Do you think this is something I should becausebout? Any help is appriciated...I cant sleep becouse the pain is still there and im just worried that it might be like a brain tumor or something. I did see a nuerologist recently before this was going on for my leg and he scheduled a nerve test and also an MRI for the brain aswell as for the spine.. but thats about two weeks away.. do you think he found something to be concerned about?? All he told me was that the damage in my leg was coming from two different things and thats y he orderderd the tests but he didnt say what those things were. But anyways any help or info for the pain in my head is appriciated. Thanks everyone.
I hit my head on the windshield, and now I'm having stomach, arm, and hip pains. Related?
Yesterday, I unbuckled to get the GPS out of the back seat, but when I was getting back into the front seat, my mom slammed on the breaks and I flew into the windshield. The windshield cracked.I didn't feel like I was in pain after it happened originally, probably from adrenaline and shock. But today, my arm is in pain it also hit the windshield and I am having trouble putting weight pressure on it. My stomach is also hurting a lot, and I'm nauseous. My hips have also been messed up, probably because my spine got a bad jolt when I hit the windshield.My questions are are all of these things related? Should I go to the doc?
Sharp Head Pains-- Need help finding out what's wrong?
Last year I would get head pains for like 5 10 seconds often on my forehead above my eyebrows. And then they stopped coming so frequently. Then this year I started getting them again more frequently in the same places on both sides of my face above my eyebrow. And yesterday in the morning I got really bad sharp pains where my temples are, on the sides of my face near my ears. And it only stayed for a a couple seconds and went away. And then it came again 5 minutes later but the sharp pain was on the left side of my head like inside I guess lol And then it went away and I was fine. And then during my second period class I got the pains again but they were worse. It hurt so much that it made me jump in my seat and grab my head and say " ow" outloud and made me make facial expressions. the pain expressions lol And everything was asking me if I was okay. It only stayed for 5 10 seconds then went away. And I continued to get them every 5 10 minutes for an hour. And it was the same thing. The pain made me jump, grab my head and say ow. And it only stayed for 5 10 seconds. And then the pains started to die down and I only got them like 1 every 30 minutes, and then I got them every hour and then I took some T3 and it seemed to be okay. But I still got the forehead pains. I don't think these are headaches migraines. I never get them. And the same day I felt like someone was squeezing my head. There was alot of pressure. Thats what it felt like. Then that night I went to bed and woke up an hour later. I found it stange because I never wake up an hour later after falling asleep. And my head felt so bad there was more pressure and I couldn't sleep for an hour. Today I haven't gotten any sharp pains but I still have pressure and I frequently get pains in my forehead area.I don't think these are headaches. I have a feeling something else is wrong with me. Someone help? I'm planning on going to the doctors on Saturday. But I just want an idea of what it might be. Thanks

Sharp pains in my head?
its not quite like a headache.just, within the past few days, every once in awhile i feel an instant sharp throb kinda in my right side of my head toward the back more.could this be a sign for something? or is it just a rare headache?
Can a pinched nerve in your neck cause shooting pains when you turn your head and cause tingling?
Sometimes when I turn my head I get shooting pains that go up into my head and cause a numbing and tingling feeling in my neck and head. Can a pinched nerve cause that and how can I stop this from happening, it really hurts.
