The ware and tear you put on your knees whilst wearing high heals takes a tremendous toll on your legs and spine. The knees can have bits of loose cartilage floating about in them plus strain.A doctor at your local surgery will specialise in such injury's,so best ring and ask which doctor dose this kind of work and go see the doc. In the meantime go to the Chemist and buy a tube of Movelat to ease knees pain plus pain killers.

You might have arthritis or rheumatism, go and see your doctor about it x

Yea it's your knees telling you winter is on the way so wrap up warm in some fashionable tights and cosy boots. If you doesn't improve could be the onset of arthritis.

High heels although lovely to wear are a killer for knees. They throw your legs and back out of balance. you have just answered your question really. Dance in flatter shoes.

Heels are a stupid invention make your feet ugly and put you in pain. Take a neurofen and wear sensible shoes

All the above are good ideas, in addition, perhaps you could try helping the muscles by standing and balancing on one leg at a time, when you do (and close your eyes) you'll wobble, but that wobbling and trying to correct your balance (don't grab the furniture!) will help strengthen the small groups of muscles that support the knee.

Great sensible answers by everyone. considering that we are in shoes most of our waking time, I would also recommend comfy shoes. Try phiten products to ease the pain. These are the rage nowadays, because of all the super star athletes vouching for their stress and pain relieving properties. The titanium magnets are supposed to help, I guess. I have never used them, but just saw this product being mentioned on yahoo's main page.
